With the orderly resumption of work and production in key areas, the supply chain demand of foreign trade enterprises is further highlighted. How to solve the problems such as material tightness after the resumption of work and ensure that the resumption of work and production is not “stuck” on the way has become the focus of attention of all parties.
Economic Information Daily has learned that the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs and other relevant departments have recently deployed to provide precise services to enterprises and ensure the stability of the industrial chain and supply chain of foreign trade. At the local level, efforts have also been made to coordinate efforts to solve difficulties in the supply of raw materials and key components during the resumption of work and production. The industry suggests that on the basis of stabilizing the “chain”, we should further consolidate the “chain” and fundamentally enhance the ability of China’s foreign trade industry to cope with risks and challenges.
Access points help enterprises resume production
With the resumption of work and production, the upstream and downstream enterprises have strong demand. The raw material inventory of Kasma Automobile System (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. has been basically exhausted, and a batch of imported steel coils are urgently needed to be replenished through the domestic trade river transport. After knowing the situation, Jiading Customs immediately opened the linkage working mechanism with wusong Customs, where the port is located, opened the “green channel”, actively coordinated with the port area, and the batch of vehicle steel coil was shipped to Chongqing in time to put into production.
Recently, many enterprises have been working overtime to cash the backlog of orders during the production halt. The arrival of raw materials and some key parts has become a difficult problem for enterprises.
Relevant departments have made intensive deployment to strengthen the chain protection and stability of foreign trade. On May 26, The General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Promoting The Stability and Quality of Foreign Trade, emphasizing that “the list of key foreign trade enterprises and related logistics enterprises and personnel should be determined, production, logistics and employment should be guaranteed, foreign trade enterprises affected by the epidemic should be helped to resume production as soon as possible, and the stability of foreign trade supply chains should be guaranteed.”
